libkiten-dev software package provides development files for the Kiten Japanese reference libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkiten-dev
libkiten-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkiten-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkiten-dev *
You will get with libkiten-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
